The Doctors House was rebuilt 10 years ago to offer comfortable character holiday accommodation for families of up to eight in a superb rural setting.

The Doctors House is a charming, detached, renovated home perched in the Coomerkane Valley, 3 miles above Glengarriff, on a no throough, single track road at the head of the valley, beneath the Caha Mountains - a haven for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful countryside of West Cork.

West Cork is a virtual paradise for hikers, photographers, sailors, fishermen and casual sightseers. Bicycles, a Drascombe Lugger and lake boat are available by special arrangement.

Accommodation

• Upstairs are the three bedrooms - one double bedroom, a second large double bedroom with additional twin beds and the third bedroom has bunks with two single beds as well. There is an upstairs bathroom with bath, power shower and WC.
  
• Downstairs the porch leads into the large living room where an open fireplace, with natural timber lintel, three large sofas, the TV/DVD and HiFi with high quality sound system invite relaxation. The fitted pine kitchen/dining room has a gas hob, electric oven, microwave and dishwasher with an informal seating area for 8 looking out across the lush valley. A washing machine and tumble dryer are located in the passage on route to the shower room with WC. A telephone is provided.
  
• The house is heated with storage heaters and electrical heaters on both floors.

Outside

• There is a small walled/stock fenced garden, beyond which are fields and the rugged landscape of the valley with a river and two lakes.
  
• There is plenty of parking.
